Western Atlas and Related Companies (1983 - 1996)
Eagle Manufacturing (1992 - 1996): President of a joint venture between UNOVA (formerly Litton, Western Atlas) and Navistar. Leader of the team that set up the venture, from conception through ongoing operation. Eagle manufactures diesel engine parts for Navistar using manufacturing systems developed by Lamb Technicon, a division of UNOVA. Eagle has met or exceeded the partners quality, schedule and financial goals. Also responsible for Business Development for the Machining and Assembly Systems Group of UNOVA during 1995 focus on developing third world markets for operations with sales totaling $800 Million.
Litton Industrial Automation Systems, Inc. (1990 - 1992) Group Vice President, Marketing for business composed of twenty operations in four countries with world wide sales of $1 Billion. Liaison with Corporate Investor and Public Relations. Coordinated sales and marketing activities between operations. Developed strategic plans, evaluated and presented acquisitions and divestitures to the Executive Committee of Litton Industries.
Lamb Technicon (1983 - 1990): Various executive positions at a leading supplier of machining and assembly systems for high volume, complex automotive components, with sales growing from $200 to $400 million during this period. Litton Industries acquired Lamb in 1987. In 1994, Litton Industries spun off its commercial businesses, including Lamb, into a new publicly traded company, Western Atlas, Inc. Western Atlas subsequently spun of its industrial automation businesses as UNOVA.
